Premium Fuel in a 1.8t ???
 

The car recommends premium unleaded fuel and I have been using premium but is it necessary? I hear some people say its unnecessary and just to use regular unleaded and use Octane booster once in a while on fill ups instead.

Premium only costs $8 more on a fill up and I have a 2002 Jetta and is my first car so I dont want to risk it until I know if it IS ok to use regular or not
