part location?
 

new vw owner my thiird week. i bought a 71 convertible turn key car. i have been tightening up misc. items and was working on the lights when i tried to find the back up light switch i think they came on once but i cant get them to work and i have looked under the car but i really dont know where to look.?its a fun car to drive and everything else works just fine. so if you would be so kind as to give me a general idea of what it looks like and how to reach it i would be gratefull.

any answer would have helped out but just in case someone reads this forum the reverse light switch on an older vw is under the car on the passenger side top of transmisssion. jacked up its easy to reach and change out.
