Default need some help

Hey all. I'm new to the forum and am posting for a friend. She has a 2001 Turbo Beetle. She's had it in and out of the shop numerous times for the same problems. Today she was driving home and the car died on her when she was doing 50mph. It has already had the turbo replaced when it was under warranty. various vaccuum hoses, MAF sensor, battery...etc....Any ideas on what can be causing this? Thanks for any info you have.

Default RE: need some help

when was the last tune-up? did you check the fuel pressure. it might be bad fuel pump relay. Can you hear the pump running? no ignition spark, - it could be a bad coil. try to check the connections, if its dirty try to clean it.. it would be best to test and check each vw parts to see what might be causing the problem.. and to see if there is a need for replacement or repair.. good luck
