Default How to program your key fob.

You have to take the keys to a local dealer that Nissan. They will give you an estimate on how much it costs. Usually expensive, but in some cases they are not. I work in a former page, and many older vehicles are still expensive. The same should be programmed fob SO unless you have installed the system yourself.

Put one key into the ignition and turn it on. Don't start car.
Using the second key lock the car manually outside.
Press unlock once and wait a couple of seconds.
Then press lock once.
Manually unlock the car and remove the key from the ignition.
Now test your key fob.

I just got my car and the dealer didn’t have an extra spare key for me…so he gave me some other VW’s key+FOB and told me to get he key part recut at the VW dealership and to reprogram the FOB part myself to save $$$.
