Default Hot Start Problem

I have a Beetle with the diesel engine and when it's cold it will start right off but when the engine is hot, It just spins around and around. It doesn't even try to start. It has 50 K on it and new battery. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks Tom

Sounds like a sensor problem, may be feeding the computer
some bad info.

No sir, no lights on when it starts. Just when it gets hot and shut down it doesn't want to start. Thanks for the responses.
