Well I am new to the forum but I will leave a thread about me in the other forum.
Now down to business. I am seriously interested in getting a 2001-2003 jetta/gti 1.8t, a friend
of mine has got me totally interested in them. Hes almost got me to the point where I will get one.
I just need to know one thing before I go test drive any of these beauties on a lot.
Is the 1.8t engine a interference or Non interference engine. I currently own a 94 eagle talons ES
(yes lets everyone laff at da mitsu grrl lol) and in case some of you dont know they are TIMING BELT NIGHTMARES lol (thats a nice way to put it lol). I really do want one of these to modify and stuff eventually but after all the probs I had with
my talon I wont get another car that has an interference engine.

Any info is GREATLY appreciated and you can hit up my email if you wish. I work a nightshift job at a hospital
so my times on here may be at odd ball hours.
