Elloooo to all of you!

Got a little question for ya...

I have an automatic 2002 VW Jetta. Recently the EPC light has been coming on and off - I'm not sure if that light is the cause of this other problem that's been occuring though. When I'm on the highway, I drive about 30 miles to work everyday, the RPM will just drop to nothing then shoot up real high, then they won't go over 40RPM while my speed won't go over 60MPH as well. The first couple of times it happened when I shut the car off it went away but when I tried that "trick" today unfortunately it didn't work. She's also been stalling at random as of lately as well. Most of the time it's when I'm slowing down for a stop - there has been times where it starts right back up again but there has also been 2 times where I had to let it sit for about 45 mins before it started back up.

Any help or advice on the situation would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum guys.

There is no point in guessing whats gone wrong you need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to do a scan for error codes.
