EPC/Brake Light Issue
 

Good Morning All,

I have a 2004 Jetta with a few issues I need some help with. I was driving to work this morning and made a left turn. Not too fast or anything and noticed the EPC light came on and I started loosing power. Within a few seconds I regained power. Once I arrived at work I noticed that now the brake lights are stuck on and will not come off. I had one of my co-workers mess with it a little and he pushed the brake pedal a few times and it came off for like a minute then came right back on. So right now I have the battery disconnected so I don't drain my battery by the time I get off of work. Any suggestions on what I should do?? I really don't have a lot of money right at this moment to fix it. I need a quick cheap fix. :confused:

did it make a beeping noise as well? My 2001 makes a beeping noise and than flashes the BRAKE light and EPC light on the dash. I have a few other issues compounding my problems. We just had the wires/plugs/ignition coil changed a month and a half ago.

Nope, no beeping. The light came on and then once I got to work the brake lights where stuck.
