Engine & Brake light constantly on
 

Ok so my car started turning on the BRAKE light when i was in gear and the e-brake was obviously down, it also does it when the car is in park and e-brake up :/ also when i went into neutral and let go of the gas the rmps kept where they were, and accelerating by itself. I disconnected the battery for 30min and when i turned it on once more it was running horribly when started up but after a bit it started up normal. The main issue is that the engine light came on and the brake light keeps coming on, I haven't driven the car again to c if it accelerates by itself but do you guys have any idea what it could be? or any input? and how to reset the engine light manually without vag-com?
