EFI to carb conversion for ABA 8 valves
Hello VW friends,
I am considering converting my (1998) 2.0 L 8 v EFI ABA engine to carburetors. I apologize for asking about a subject which has already been beaten to death I am sure, please have mercy on the newbie and try to explain things "simply". What would be most useful to me would be to be schooled on ignition. I understand that getting rid of the ECU creates a distributor problem for my EFI model ... What should I use as a distributor? vacuum distributor? from which VW model? any other alternative?
The other question I have is: what will this EFI to carb switch do to performance?
Thanks.
