Default central locking has been broken

central locking has been broken on it for a while and I've been meaning to look into it, it did just unlock with the interior handle and lock again by pressing the interior lock thing. now it just won't unlock anyone got any ideas what I can do, can you remove the door panel with the door closed?

I know its a VW forum don't even say which make, model or year your talking about, we do have Seat and Skoda drivers on here.

I'm assuming you're checked the battery in the key fob?

You could always find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to do an Autoscan to highlight any faults.

Other than that its a faulty finding task with a good multimeter starting with the fuses\relays then door panels of to check operation and feed.

Oh I see your last post was taking about a Jetta is this the same vehicle, what year is it?
