Default cd player... HELP!

ok so i love my music right,
so when my cd player just decides to stop working, and i have to listen to the crappy radio, i go insane

i drive a 2003 VW Golf Sport 2.0
all my music is from burnt cds from my pc, and this has never been a problem in the past
a couple weeks back, my cd player just "decided" to stop working.
ill put in a cd..the cd playerthinks about it for a while, the playing signal wont come up.. and it will either stay like that, or it will spit the cd back out, saying i think its "E-4" - i looked it up in the manual and it means its a "dirty disc."
ive tried all of my cds, including legit bought cds, not burnt ones.. and im having the same problem.

i think it should be worth mentioning that i went to play the new coldplay cd (bought, not burnt).. and it decided to play!
i was ecstatic,so i quickly ejected it and chucked in one of my fave burnt cds, and then now its stopped working again! ..including the coldplay cd..

any suggestions guys? please help.. im going insane

jack

Default RE: cd player... HELP!

I went to Dick Smiths and got myself one of theselens cleaningCD's, to see if it would make any difference.
The problem is that the CD needs to properly load for it to be able to do anything.. and my CD player doesnt load it..
I don't know what to do .. Is buying a new CD player my only option now?
