blow off or divertor valve????

What is the difference between a blow off valve and a forge divertor valve? Do they do the same for the engine? Which is better? How many does the 1.8T have?

a blow off valve vents the pressure externally..where as the diverter dumps it back into the system...a system which uses a mass air flow sensor is much better suited with a diverter...
