Battery Replacement in Remote

Can anyone help me with directions on replacing the battery in the remote for my Jetta, its a 2001 not sure if that matters. Thanks in advance...

If it is the same as my 2000 the key slides apart and the button battery is inside. It is hard to open sometimes. I took mine to a jeweler and he took it apart and replaced the battery for $3.00
