Default Advice on Maintaining my car

I bought a 2013 vw tiguan s tsi awd and will be it shipping to West Africa. I will be going there about every 2-3 months for about a week or two. I would like to know what to ship with it (like motor oil, brake pads...) and do maintenance myself like oil change, brakes...I'm really handy and will have the support of my dad who works as a car assembler and qa.How often should I change oil?
I'm looking to drive about 3000 miles a year. Should I use synthetic oil?How should I protect the car between visits? We have a closed garage and open garage.
the weather is nice there around 80 and more humid compared to the northeast US.

Oil is the backbone of your vehicle. Your vehicle needs oil and appropriate oil strain for oil and execution changes made while you're driving. All in all, it keeps things moving along as planned.
