I need some help with a problem I have with my 1975 VW Beetle. I just had a new fuel filter installed and had an air leak in the carb fixed, but now the car turns off every time I come to a complete stop. Does anyone have any advice about why this is happening? Thanks.

sounds like your carb needs air! Check your air filter and air inlet ducts for blockages or maybe the carb needs adjusting - too rich.
