I don't know if I agree with that. Ive burned a couple gti's so it all depends whats done to the motor's of both cars. but you are right about one thing there swed [:@]

yeah for sure, im rolling the awp too. I drove my ex-girls 1.8t but it was the aeb engine code. I think my mk3 2.Slow would have gave it a run for its money. it was gutless

i have the 2003 vw jetta gli im not sure what the engine code is but its cc is 2792 and it has 24v's but i raced a stock 04 gti and it beat me we were going up a hill so idk if thats a decent race.

i have a 2001 jetta Wolfsburg 1.8T and i burned a 2002 gti 1.8T...both cars all stock..just catback exhausts...
