2001 VW Passat V6 Wagon
Hello.
I just purchased a 2001 VW Passat Wagon. V6, Automatic. It has 102K miles. I just has the tires replaced, front end alignment and a passenger side tie rod. I still feel like there still is a shaking of the car and I can't figure it out. Not terrible, but noticable.I do not feel it is struts as that would be more noticable. More on thepassenger side of the car. If I look at my passenger seat, I see it shaking. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am not a mechanic and I do not want to be taken advantage of. Thanks. |

what kind of tires did you buy?? did they balance them? and if they are generic brand tires they arent always as easy to balance as name brand tires, so you might feel that wobble or shaking in the steering, cause i have generic brand tire on the front and they shake a little bit

I actually invested in good tires. A decent set of Michelins. I also had balancing and an alignment. I was wondering one of the following.
1. Does it need to be re-balanced? 2. Ball Bearings gone bad? or, Ball Joints? 3. Anything else that holds it in place. Thanks. |
