2000 Passat 1.8 timing belt tensioner

I joined this site a few days ago and have spent countless hours doing research. I just bought a 2000 Passat wagon with 122K MILES on it. I have the stop engine low oil press or level light that has come on 3-4 times. The engine sounds great with no noise and plenty of power. Service records on this car were great. Currently I have the front end apart and I am replacing the timing belt but I am not sure of how to currectly remove the belt tensioner. I am also replacing the oil pump, all belts and water pump impeller. But right now its the tensioner that has me stumped. What else should I be looking at to replace while I have the car this torn apart. I have found threads on replacing the tensioner but not removing to be re-used. P.S. I also found oil in the hose that goes to what I think is the throttle body. Is this normal??

Changed out the oil pump today. Those back oil pan bolts were a real booger to get to. I didnt know they were even there. Ran across some black water type fluid running out of either a hose or the rubber motor mount on the drivers side. I managed to raise the motor up enough to remove the oil pan and change out the oil pump. The old pump pick up screen was almost totally blocked with crud. Now I need to figure what that black water type stuff is.
