2000 jetta headlights won't go back on after starting the car.

Default 2000 jetta headlights won't go back on after starting the car.
This seems like it would be a simple problem but it's kicking my but. Could someone give me some insight or a wiring diagram. Also, the wipers and the turn signalsare inop. I jump started a car yesterday and now this trouble started.

I know that this may be a bit late but look at the ignition switch. I'm having the same prob with my 98 jetta.

Check out the electrical side of the ignition switch.
