12v vs. 24v?
 
I have a 99 GTI w/ a 12v VR6. I have heard that the 24-valve option is better. I am confused, does anyone know what the actual real-world difference in performance/reliability is? is there a subtle or substantial difference?

12 valve is 2 valves per cylinder and 24 is 4 valves per cylinder thats about as close as i can get right now for you but have you ever heard of wikipedia, its a helpful device
