What's up with all the spammers on this site? Most sites ban them on their first offence, but there are a bunch several days old.

 

I don't even know if there's a mod on here...

We do not have any moderators...I stop in and erase huge bunches of spam, but they hit on weekends and post a ton, in a hurry...

 

how do we get them to stop? I was on a different forun and they never had this issue.....

Forums generally have a spam blocker. If someone has been reported as a spammer their IP address is logged and therefore can't join another forum. Obviously some get through.

Its hard to keep the software up to date.
