Default CD Player selection

I was looking around and saw a million different CD players and I was wondering before I just dive in and buy one, does anyone have a tried and true almost perfect fit cd player they would recommend? And also sounds good with options for the and for . I'm not in the mood for cutting plastic to make wiring harnesses fit unless I have to. Also will I be able to avoid the cupholder with an after market cd player by mounting in a lower tray?

I like Kenwoods because the match the lights inside the car perfectly. You'll need an installation kit if your stereo takes up two spaces.

Go with an Alpine...a little pricey but the sound is unbeatable
