This has probably been asked many times before, but how much wattage can you run from a stock battery? i have a 450 watt amp hooked up to the speakers, and i want to put a 1000 watt amp and a sub in.

I'm wondering if this will kill the battery?

And would it be logical to then run another battery with one of the distributor blocks or whatever will charge the second battery?

 

The 1000 watt amp is out put, you have to see what
the current draw is on the amp, it will be a lot less, I
doubt it will hurt you at all, unless you play the system
while your parked and the engine off, and then it would
take a few hours.
