Throwing coolant out of coolant reservoir
Hi guys.Looks like i need your help because i can't figured out myself
So the story is i bought a 2004 vw passat with ( what we thought ) blowing head gasket because it was the milk shake in oil and coolant system.BUT I WANT TO NOTICE IT WASN'T OVERHEATING ! Its 1.8 Turbo 5 speed manual transmission passat. So my mechanic replaced the head gasket and i did an oil change with flush and coolant system flush. After that i drove it for about 25-30 miles and find out that its all the same problem.than the mechanic changed the oil cooler and i did change the oil with flush and oil.Afte i did and cooling system flush its start to overheating because coolant start throwing out of coolant reservoir. But no water in oil.No smokes or noises. No leaks.Just starting to throwing out a coolant from coolant reservoir. So please guy can you help me to find a reason why its throwing out coolant from coolant reservoir ? Thank you

Welcome to the forum.
They do suffer from head gasket problems depending on which engine you have.

Even if the head gasket was changed it depends if the cylinder head was inspected for cracks. Its still pushes coolant out of the expansion bottle the coolant appears to be over pressurised.
