have a 2004 jetta wagon and whenever we have a heavy rain the sunroof leaks into the car. but only on the right side. it looks like it is leaking above the headliner, water will drip from the light above the sun visor, and it runs down the kick pannel from under the dash onto the floor. last rain there was about a inch if water on the pasengers side floor. the car has been back to the dealer for this problem a few times. this time they said, and i kid you not "It is a pollution problem, they dont have these problems in California becouse we have more pollution" I think i am dealing with idiots.

has anyone had this type of problem before? and can someone please tell me where the drains are so that i can check them out myself.

do i need to remove the headliner to get to the drain?
