Default 2000 gls wiper is linkage locked up

Hey,

After my wipers lock up and try to move but can't make it much more than 1/8" at a time. I've got the wiper motor and linkage out and noticed the motor spins in the middle of the linkage and one side the arm moves along with the spindle by hand turning, but the other side is locked up and does not move. I have used pblast on it, pounded on it a few times, and still can't get it to move.

Is it supposed to move like the other side? Does anyone know the plan of action that will save me taking it to the dealer or a mechanic? I don't believe it's the motor since I see it moving. Can the linkage lockup or break?

Thanks,
Jason
