Default dont know what do do next

I have a 2002 jetta tdi 440000 kms still running strong.Im having some problems with the cooling, engine does not run hot temp is 190,does throw heat, but bottom rad hoes is always cold. Changed thermostat twice thought maybe I got a bad one, water pump and timming belt was done last winter. Iv read about bad water pumps but woudnt that make the car overheat?

Doesn't run hot 190° F is normal running temperature. I would have thought a faulty thermostat but you've changed that twice. You could have a faulty Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (G2). You would need to get a scan done with VAG-COM\VCDS and note the temperature the ecu sees.

A faulty water pump will cause it to overheat.

I would also suggest you join VW TDI forum, Audi, Porsche, and Chevy Cruze diesel forum as well its the best TDI forum.
