Default Wet Floorpan

I've got a 1997 Mk3 Golf (1.8 Canadian Edition). So, I've been trying to find someone with a similar set of problems, but haven't had success. My rear-passenger side floorpan has a 1-inch puddle of water. It's isolated, but very severe. My spare tire well is also full of water. And my alarm is going off every time I lock the car...which I suspect is not a coincidence.

I've had all these issues before, except the alarm. Already have done a spray test, dried the car out completely, hosed it down very thoroughly, no water comes in. It seems to happen very gradually. Clean sunroof drains, clean engine bay (including that tray just in front of the firewall), no noticeable leaks in the windows or doors. I have spent hours and hours trying to fix this problem...to no success.

Anybody have any ideas before I go drop a few hundred dollars to have a pro fix it? Thanks

Default Taillights

I'll mention, though, that all the alarm system/power lock components are in the back, by the lights. My taillights ARE fogged up, and the seal doesn't seem tight, although I have them tightened up all the way.

That could be the problem, eh?
