Default Adding a turbo to a 1998 cabrio

Any suggestions on best ways to add a turbo to a cabrio? oEM vs using a used passat 1.8 turbo?

Oh I see your dreaming a bit. It isn't a matter of just bolting a turbo on there is all the electronics, cabling, sensors and coding.
