Cool Turbo Cabrio?

So I am about to hop into a 1997 Cabrio, taken care of, bunch of new suspension parts but the kid plans to keep his coils. No biggie, I just want to focus on some performance mods.

Anyway, its been a dream of mine to turbo a N/A car. I had a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally, and I did all the appearance mods possible, and i got sick of the attention it brought to my car and my license suffered from harassment. after I argued legal issues with the cops in the town next to mine for taillights i had, they were blacked out inside yet he decided they werent legal for me to use. They were DOT approved and all so i told him id see him in court. and the next two weeks him and his butt hurt buddies pulled me over for anything and everything. So now im selling that and building a sleeper. Maybe one day i will VR6 swap it but im tight on money from fines. This cabrio is going to be a long build in process and I hope to learn a lot and meet some cool people on here. Some pictures of my oz will be down below.

So to the point, has anyone safely boosted the Cabrio? I dont expect to dyno 350 but i just want the experience and joy of boosting a car. also, who doesnt want to go around in summer boosting in their german engineered convertible? My buddy had a genesis and when i tell you ive never had so much fun driving a car, dude... id be happy with 250hp out of this thing. dont wanna spin the tires every time i go to shift. (F)ail(W)heel(D)rive FTW

I did do a little searching, and found someone talk about this

BBM -Bahn Brenner Motorsport, Volkswagen Audi OEM Parts & Performance. Your VW Audi performance one stop shop.

which is so expensive... And they had some other links to piece together a kit. Im still new to even building a turbo kit and I know what I need just not sure what fits dubs. I had a full evo 8 kit coming to me to boost my lancer for 500 dollars, but i just am not doing that, not worth the hassle with the way my car is targeted.

Okay so I read up and the only bad thing about that FastWayRacer kit is the turbo. Some kids on supra forums mentioned it and they had a friend boost their supra with it. First off, why would you ever boost a supra with anything but the best but I'm not here to judge... Being broke is being broke. But he said it lasted 8 months then replaced the turbo and was good. I think I may save up and when I have like 2 grand drop it into a shop and go from there. I'd leave it at 8 psi, better injectors spark plugs the whole 9 yards.
