Default Lupo 2003 cambridge

Hi guys,
I just bought a volkwagen lupo 2003 1.4 with 144000km on it, its my first car but when im driving the oil pressure gives a signal sound+light i checked the oil level which is good.
I think its the oil pressure sensor? Could that be the problem?
Where can i find the sensor and how can i solve the problem?
Sorry for bad english im from the netherlands.

It could be a faulty oil pressure switch but to make sure you need a good quality pressure gauge fitting to check the pressure. The Golf 1.4 has a common problem that the pickup pipe gets blocked in the sump.

I checked everything new oil pressure sensor, new filter, new oil.
Still got the signal from low oil pressure.

I only get the signal when the engine is running between 1500/3000 rpm

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing.
