Hey!!

I have a 2000 VW Beetle... and I am just curious if anyone here.. would happen to know how much it would cost to fix the Air bag/ignitor?

I took it in to a car lot..and had the dude plug in my car to that "thingy" and tell me what was wrong with it... after having the airbag light on for a few months now..

he said that it appears to be the ignitor... and that I need to get that fixed...

I've heard that airbags or anything to do with the airbags are going to cost a fortune to fix... so I'm just curious how much a "fortune" is haha

I also had the Check Engine light come on.... after taking it to the car lot mentioned above.. they just told me that it needed to be fixed..and reset the lights... so the lights aren't on anymore... which is great...but now I don't feel the urge to get it fixed.. i'm just overwhelmed..because with a check engine light.. that could be a fortune just there to fix... and then the airbag on top of that?!?!?! oy vey!!!

Does anyone know how much i'm gonna have to fork over to fix this?!?!?!?!???!?!
